From Stockfish to Seaweed
In March 2016 I visited Lofoten for the first time, high up in the north of Norway. And I was immediately in love with the unique landscape, the hearty people and of course with the cuisine of the traditional dishes and products made on these rough islands - like the stockfish. Later I discovered the products of Lofoten Seaweed - and I was thrilled: by the two founders Tamara and Angelita. The idea that this superfood could easily be used for everyday dishes. And then there was the Nina-i-Lofoten idea: "Many more people need to enjoy these unique products!

Lofoten Seaweed
Angelita Eriksen and Tamara Singer are the friendly founders of Lofoten Seaweed. Their idea: to use the potential of the Seaweed, which has not yet been recognized in Lofoten, to grow wild around the archipelago. And for products at the highest culinary level, which not only taste excellent and are easy to use, but also have many positive health properties.

Lofoten Seaweed Products
The Lofoten archipelago in northern Norway is known for its Northern Lights and midnight sun, for its impressive landscapes and stockfish, and as a mooring for the Hurtigruten mailboats. But my online shop NinaiLofoten.com is all about products with seaweed, algae & Co., which are produced by the Norwegian startup Lofoten Seaweed in the small fishing village Napp. The wild growing underwater plants are harvested by the two likeable founders Tamara and Angelita in the absolutely pure but rough arctic sea of the Lofoten Islands. The result: products such as salt, pasta and chocolate with seaweed that not only taste great, but are also rich in vitamins and minerals. Lofoten Seaweed Body Soap provides pure, 100% organic beauty.
